Follow these five easy steps and transfer your domain name to Vantage absolutely
risk-free. By transferring your domain to Vantage, you'll extend your domain
registration for an additional year, without losing the time you've previously
paid for. If for any reason, your transfer is unsuccessful, Vantage will refund
your fee, no questions asked.
The Process
Transferring a domain name requires cooperation from three
parties: you, your former registrar and Vantage Internet Services. Don't worry
– your part is easy. All you have to do is confirm your request for a domain
name registration change with your former registrar. Vantage will send you an
email on how to work with former registrar to do so.
Once this is done, Vantage will work with your former registrar to make sure the
transfer gets done quickly and accurately. This takes communication, paperwork,
time (usually about 5 working days) and most importantly, it takes an honest
willingness on the part of your former registrar to get the transfer done.
Unfortunately, some registrars would rather keep your money a little while
longer than provide you with this legally required service. In the past, Vantage
fees associated with domain registration transfers were non-refundable for this
reason. Vantage would perform all the work required of us, only to see the
transfer fail through no fault of ours. To you, our customer, it really doesn't
matter where the fault lies: You have paid your money, you expect the transfer
to occur. In order to make this service risk-free to our customer, Vantage has
made all associated transfer fees fully refundable. If your transfer to Vantage
Internet Services fails for any reason, we'll let you know and refund your
money. It's simple as that.
